A new campaign developed by R U OK?
The ‘Stronger Together’ campaign was developed after Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people from urban, regional and remote communities across the country repeatedly asked R U OK? if there could be work done to create a culturally appropriate R U OK? campaign. An advisory group of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander leaders and influencers was formed to develop this.
After a competitive process, the Advisory Group commissioned an Aboriginal owned and managed agency, 33 Creative, to work with them on a campaign that speaks to diverse Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and their personal experiences with suicide. From this work came the ‘Stronger Together’ campaign.
The R U OK? Board and team are grateful to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander leaders and influencers who drove this campaign from day one as part of the R U OK? Advisory Group.
